  • Carin Looi

    FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR

    Carin is an accomplished financial services executive with over 20 years of leadership experience across capital markets, institutional banking, and business expansion in Asia Pacific. Her career spans senior roles at BNY Mellon, Singapore Exchange (SGX), CME Group, and RCMA Group, where she led strategic initiatives focused on capital markets infrastructure, regulatory engagement, and innovation.

    She brings direct board experience from her role as Board Director at Pershing Singapore (a BNY Mellon company), where she provided oversight on business strategy, compliance, and risk. She has also served on executive committees across BNY Mellon’s APAC Securities Services, Singapore Branch, and Global Asset Owner divisions, contributing to regional strategy, operational resilience, and cross-border governance.

    Her ability to align commercial goals with regulatory frameworks and long-term investor interests makes her particularly well-suited for board roles focused on capital deployment, financial innovation, or market infrastructure.

    Carin holds a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology and a Certificate in Internationalisation from Singapore Management University. She is active in industry forums and serves as a committee member in the Singapore Financial Leadership Network (initiative by Monetary of Singapore) and member in Singapore Global Leadership Network (initiative by Economic Development of Singapore), reflecting her commitment to governance excellence and talent development

  • William Wong

    EXECUTIVE PANEL

    William Wong is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience across capital markets, financial services, and technology in Asia and board advisor to a national sports association. He brings deep expertise in cross-border investment strategy, intermediary networks, and regulatory alignment—critical capabilities for entities operating across Southeast Asia’s diverse markets.

    He served 16 years at Singapore Exchange (SGX), where he led initiatives to expand regional market access, strengthen intermediary relationships, and drive product adoption across ASEAN. William’s strategic leadership helped position SGX as a key regional hub for capital flows, while aligning regulatory, operational, and business priorities.

    Prior to SGX, he held regional roles at Intel, Seagate, and HP, managing complex supply chains and distribution across multi-market platforms across Asia. This dual-sector background enables him to offer boards a broad commercial perspective, with a focus on execution, risk, and long-term value creation.

    Currently, William advises financial institutions and fintech platforms on strategic partnerships, scaling strategies, and governance alignment in high-growth environments.

    William holds an MBA and an BEng (Hons) from Strathclyde Business School and University of Strathclyde respectively and is a Singaporean Citizen.

  • Patrick Kong

    EXECUTIVE PANEL

    Patrick Kong is a seasoned capital markets executive with over 25 years of experience across trading, institutional sales, and business development, with deep expertise in delivering high-value technology solutions to exchanges and financial market operators in Southeast and South Asia.

    He has held leadership roles at Nasdaq, CME Group, and Singapore Exchange (SGX), where he led cross-border sales strategies, closed multimillion-dollar technology deals (USD5M–25M), and built enduring partnerships with trading venues and institutional clients. His work spans front-office trading, complex bid management, and post-sale account relationship management providing a unique 360° perspective on how capital markets function and evolve in Asia.

    With a strong track record of execution in high-stakes, regulated environments, Patrick is well-positioned to contribute to boards seeking growth, market access, and governance excellence in Asia’s dynamic financial landscape.

    Patrick holds a Master’s degree from University of Adelaide and is a Singapore citizen.
